New Construction Process
A Simple 4-Step Process
Adding solar to new homes boosts property value and ensures compliance with energy standards like the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). Our easy four-step process helps integrate solar seamlessly into your projects.
1. Upload Site and Build Plans (2 Business Days)
Submit your site and architectural plans through our builder portal. Our team reviews them to determine the best solar system placement for efficiency and aesthetics.
2. Custom Solar Design & Proposal (1-2 Business Days)
We create a tailored solar design based on your project’s goals and WSEC requirements. This includes panel placement, energy storage options, and a proposal outlining system details, projected output, and available incentives.
3. Permitting & Coordination (3-6 Weeks)
We handle all necessary permits and coordinate with your construction schedule to ensure a smooth installation process, minimizing disruptions to your project timeline. Washington state permitting timelines vary but typically take 3-4 weeks.
4. Installation & Inspection (1-2 Day Installation, Up to 30 Days for Final Inspections & PTO)
Your certified team installs the system with precision. After installation, we perform thorough testing to ensure top performance and compliance. We also provide documentation and guidance for system operation and maintenance and monitoring. Final inspections typically occur within 1-2 weeks after installation.
